In this case, ‘extreme’ is a ubercorrect word. The farming extremes on Welsh fields:

AFAIK this is or will be a new Samsung LED tv ad. It seems Samsung really wanted to beat Sony’s paint splashes..

It’s amazing how unnatural and ‘fake’ the world looks when you slow it down a little..

The video above was shot by David Coiffier at a stunning rate of 1000fps with a custom ~$10k camera. The one below for a change, was recorded with ~$900 Casio EX-F1, at 300 fps and edited at 24 fps, due to the author - Vicente Sahuc. Despite the low resolution (512×384) it looks well impressive.

And for the opposite, a timelapse video shot by the same Vicente in Spain with a SLR camera.

Mark Knol (aka Stroep) has built up an impressive portfolio of ActionScript generated artwork and as I check his flickr every now and then, he’s getting even better!

How it does it come into being?

Pretty inspiring when it comes to my ArtWall.

AniWall prototype testing clip

Thursday, March 26th, 2009 | Experiments, Interactive Wall Project | No Comments

A quick mashup of some videos I recorded during testing of the latest prototype of AniWall, my interactive gesture operated wall project. It’s still not perfect as you see, but I’ve got a feeling I’m getting closer.

Shot with D90. Put together quickly and under pressure in iMovie 08 (did you know you can’t stretch or reverse video there? Weird. ).

Enjoii!
